Golden Dragon - Savannah

I was so hoping this would be an OK experience, considering most of the reviews are terrible. It's not really a good place to eat, although some of the food is tasty. Right when we got there, the lady at the counter was coughing without covering her mouth..come on now. The food looked old and dried out.. which it was. The place is a bit run down and filthy. There was a man who looked to be the cook..? sitting next to us coughing all over the place, again not covering his mouth. I would not consider eating here again. Thanks for the experience, tho. The food wasn't very fresh and there wasn't many options. The food was okay for what they had. Their service was wonderful. The buffet was horrible, nothing was fresh and about 10 out of the 30 or so choices weren 't even on their menu. No white rice and only 1 so called fried rice option. Staff was friendly adjacent, not angry just apathetic. I will never go back and will never eat that food again. I would rate this place a ZERO after the experience I just had while trying to dine there. The food was old and you couldn’t chew it. When I asked our waitress about it, she said it had been out since “2:50pm” and they wouldn’t change it again until it was gone. It is 6:30pm! So since the other food was inedible, I decided to get a salad instead. I am not kidding when I say my first bite literally made me run to the bathroom to vomit! The ranch was spoiled, and tasted as if it had been that way for quite a while. The owner knew what happened, seen me running to the restroom and still made us pay the entire price for two meals we could not even eat! Absolutely pathetic! We will NEVER dine there again!
