David's Crab House - Savannah

I wish I would’ve tried this place my first night in town. It took a few days to appear on my radar, but once there, I wanted nothing else. The first night, I had the snow crabs, shrimp, and tried some conk, and actually liked it after having tried it once before 30 years ago in the Bahamas and writing it off, I thought forever, but I will eat conk from David’s, now. Don’t like seafood? Have you ever been to David’s? You should go, and you’ll learn that yes, seafood is actually delicious when it’s done up like this. It’s healthy, too. This is not deep fried. They’ll give you butter to dip it in, but really, it doesn’t need anything. It’s spiced just right and is absolutely succulent. If I ever have to choose my last meal, they’ll have to fly me to Savannah because there is no substitute for this place, and no mail order for seafood this fresh.

I was visiting from Columbia and suddenly had a craving for some crabs. I found this place after a quick Google search and the reviews were too good to ignore. This restaurant is the best thing I have tried so far! The garlic crabs and the shrimp with shell on were so delicious that my partner and I went back the next day to get more before leaving. I believe the owner is very friendly and even let us sample some dishes! We will definitely visit again if we are ever in the city and ask for their hot sauce! Highly recommended!

What a fantastic find! We stopped at this charming little restaurant while passing through Savannah, and I am so glad we did. The portions were generous and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The server was friendly and helpful, suggesting options and patiently answering our questions as we decided what to order. The food was top-notch and definitely worth the price. It's clear that this is a family-run business, and I have so much admiration for their hard work and dedication to providing excellent meals.

We were in the opposite direction and were close. we were very impressed! the seafood is served cold, which is different, so I wasn't sure, but it was fantastic. the taste of the flavor is very unique for other seafood we had. it's usually claw, but it has a Korean kick. Try this place and let them know if it's their first time.
