L'Ancienne Gare - Sauve

One of the best restaurants in the environment and always a pleasure to come here. eating is very good, beautifully presented and the portions are then more enough. the new veranda on the back is very beautiful and a good alternative if the weather is not as it should be. do not hesitate to eat here for lunch or dinner.

This is a very lovely restaurant in a very pretty setting with a delicious and very reasonably priced menu.

The restaurant l’ancienne gare is one of my favorites in the region. the interieur and the garden are beautifully decorated and decorated, the staff is always friendly and motivated and very helpful, the owners too. the menu has always market fresh options like. well as three pretty expensive menu choices with first curs main course and dessert (optional by kiss), but they can also mix freely and match their heart desires. located in the actual old railway station of the picturesque village Sauve, I can recommend this facility very much.

Without any doubt the best meal of the five savannah restaurants that we eat in a week holiday. it started well when the owner quickly responded to my voicemail message that demanded a reservation. the restaurant itself, a former SNCF station, is hugely evokatiw and sensitively rebuilt. so that the in-house may have 80 guests sitting under soon. we saw the sun as a very competent team served modern French cuisine. a pitchet or house wine was more than satisfactory. pretty flawless design. all this for maybe 2-4 euro per head more than the other restaurants. that has actually restored my belief in the excellence of the French restaurant profession. so much care and effort focused on providing a superior experience at a very reasonable price. my only regret is that we left it in our last night to go, so only those had one experience.

From the greeting to the surprisingly good value for money I cannot fault a thing. Lovely setting serving delicious, fresh, modern cuisine. They also have a good simple children’s menu understanding that kids like simple flavours. Excellent.
