Le Pot de Lapin - Saumur

Ate at Le Pot de Lapin last night. Brilliant inventive menu. Attentive, considerate and amusing service, especially as our french was not up to a detail understanding of the menu. If not already guessed highly recommended.

Do not miss a dinner at La Pot de Lapin! In a 5 week tour of France this is the best food by far! X

Le Pot de Lapin is a must visit restaurant when you are around Saumur. Super good food and great wine selection, friendly staff and very cosy atmosphere. You wouldn't think it's a good restaurant while passing by but I give 5 starts for the quality of the food. Definitely coming back.

Very good restaurant, very readable cuisine with fresh products, high kitchen, very good sauce with truffle cream. A little more sauce would have been the little plus. Small dish, very good dessert but a can too simple visually to my taste regarding the beautiful and good plate of the entrance and the dish. There would be a crunchy element of tiles, meringue or something. Very professional staff in a warm atmosphere with a variable card according to the ideas of the chef, very well argued! Small dish, lack of commercial argumentation of young sommeliers. I hope my comment will be for you constructive and not a critique. I celebrated my 35 years yesterday in this restaurant following a recommendation and I can say thank you! Successful meals, drinks that perfectly accompany the meal... We left more than conquered! Thanks again! Service: Dine in Type of meal: Dinner
