Oriental Aroma Chinese cuisine

Ordered chicken and shrimp Shanghai noodles and deep fried chicken wings with Sichuan peppercorn. The food was amazing. I still crave the chicken wings. It had the right amount of spice and flavour. Would definitely go back just for this item again. I went around lunch time, 2pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was not busy. It was also very dirty. There were 4 other tables that were not cleaned. And one of the kitchen workers was sleeping on the seat of a table. Next time I will order take out.

A coworker and I ordered from skip the dishes. Delivery was prompt and friendly. We ordered spring rolls, sizzling beef and beef fried rice. I didn’t try the spring rolls. But they were short and fat. Looked like there was lots of meat. Sizzling beef was very very good. Tender slices of beef with perfectly cooked veg. Fried rice was a little on the greasy side but tasty. Spouse and I will definitely stop in to try some other items.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and served very hot and fresh. I prefer my food to have a high level of spice, but not so much that it's unbearable. They offer a wide variety of menu options, many of which are not typical Western dishes, which I found to be quite impressive. I couldn't give it a perfect 5-star rating because the service was not excellent - the staff seemed too busy to check in on us, making it difficult to get more drinks or have dishes removed from the table. However, I enjoyed the food so much that I am still planning on returning despite the service issues.

Oriental Aroma in Saskatoon offers the best authentic Chinese food in the area. Having lived in Asia for over a year, I was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant that truly captures the essence of Chinese cuisine. Their braised beef, hot and sour soup, and various rice and noodle dishes, including hot pot, have reignited my love for Chinese food. However, despite their delicious food, Oriental Aroma falls short in terms of customer service. During a recent visit with a group of 12 people, we found ourselves surrounded by dirty dishes that were not cleared away promptly. The staff seemed hesitant to assist us and failed to provide adequate water refills. This lack of service has led to disappointment and frustration on multiple occasions. Despite this, I would still recommend Oriental Aroma for their fantastic food. Consider dining in or ordering takeout to enjoy their offerings without the distractions of poor service.

The decor was bright and more chic than the outside might suggest. Service was friendly. We started with crab Rangoon, which were tasty and not too greasy. We shared the Szechuan shredded pork and spicy fish hotpot. Both were very good. Their dishes are quite photogenic. I would return to try other dishes,
