Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I love Nosh and catch up with them when they park at Lost Cabin Brewery! They have the best fish tacos! But pretty much everything they serve is sooo good! Definitely hunt them down and give it a try! You won't be disappointed!
Excellent name, as describing the presented plates. Portions are a light, but satisfying. The menu offers a variety of items, both Gluten free and Vegan as well as something for those who choose meat/fish. They also try to accommodate those with sensitivities. The lemon cardamom cheesecake was definitely da bomb.
My husband and I love trying out new places. We love the atmosphere and the little street deck. The drinks are a little pricey but they are 2 oz. I had the Paris on the Prairie and my husband had a blood orange dry soda. We both had a bowl of soup - nothing special. Then we shared the Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos. They were very good! We could of had another order! The service was excellent!
I took my vegan friend to Nosh for lunch recently at her request. I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. We both decided on the bean salad. There were several types of beans in the salad and some hot pepper, along with baby kale. The dressing was very flavourful and thickly coated the salad. The salad was served with fresh edible flowers on top, which was a refreshing and beautiful finish. This restaurant is a bit pricey for the amount of food you are served and there was nothing but the salad on the plate. It would have been nice to have the option of a slice of homemade bread or a roll on the side for a complete meal. The server was prompt and did a very good job of handling our order in a timely manner. I would return again once in a while to try some of the other dishes.
My friend and I ordered the Walleye. I had good memories of a "Walleye" dish last year. It DID NOT live up to expectations. When we complained that we did not like the sauce, the very vinegarry zucchini, the pickles, the server told us they'd changed the recipe and we got what we'd ordered. It didn't explain the amount of vinegar in the zucchini. My friend ordered bread (to help sop up the vinegar and sauce) and was charged an extra dollar for it. With a $26 order, I'd expect MUCH, MUCH more (in quality quantity of both food and service).I'd like to recommend this restaurant but find I just CAN'T, I'm afraid.
