Bidrage med feedbackMenu is quite high priced for a lunch. Food was okay though and the servers were nice, however I won't rush back solely because of the cost.
One of my 3 fav brunches!. What a wonderful location atmosphere! The coffee is fabulous, the cheese tray is exceptionally well stocked but only if you arrive early. Its the little extras that take this brunch over the top! The desserts are amazing, especially the Death By Chocolate style chocolate pate. Add some raspberry coulis from the waffle station and oh mama! The salad and extras table is full of delights with sushi, amuse bouche and sometimes a Tapenade that I dream about! The eggs benny is very good, the hot selections are always delicious, the omelets divine. My only complaint is that the breads, muffins, croissants are consistently stale. Not just at brunch, but even when I have been there for meetings conventions. This is especially frustrating as they serve my favorite jams. Perhaps next time I will order toast with my brunch!
Go here, now. Don't ask questions.. This place is one of the best diamonds in Saskatoon's rough. Upstairs in the Bessborough, it's almost always dead which would make me laugh if it wasn't scaring me to death, that the GCC might reduce or minimize in its variety or quality.<br/ <br/ It's romantic. It's charming. It's posh. It's welcoming. It's CHEAP!<br/ <br/ At $22 25 a plate for as fancy and delicious meal as you could ask for, the GCC is pretty much the perfect option for a celebratory outing in Saskatoon. Birthday? Anniversary? Promotion? Tuesday? Go to GCC.<br/ <br/ And for god's sake, try the shepard's pie. Then pick up the bits and pieces of your mind strewn around you on the floor, because it will be blown away by flavour.
This has become my favourite saskatoon restaurant. Great prices and amazing, creative food! The lamb, shepherds pie and steak are worth having again and again!
My new favourite place to dine! Went there this evening for a friends bday. The cafe turns into gcc at night. Aka gourmet community cuisine. We were seated at a window table which gave us an incredible view of the bess beautiful gardens which was a great way to anticipate my upcoming wedding in the gardens this august .The majority of us went with the 3 course meal option. So happy we did. We started off the night with bread from earthbound bakery followed by a sample of the feature wine. We were then served an amuse bouche which was some sort of meat I think beef can't remember forsure kinda was a lil bombed at the time it was very good! I loved how u could choose from all the appetizers not just a select few . Same goes for the entree, you could choose any of the entrees! I had the potatoe gnocchi that was served with a cream sauce and capers! OMg! Sooooo good. That was followed by a palette cleanser of watermelon sorbet with mint! I had the braised pork which was incredibly tender and lean! The pork was served with mushrooms noodles and blue cheese! From there I chose the flourless chocolate cake. It was quite decadent. On top of the amazing food, we had 2 amazing servers who were very friendly knowledgeable and gave superb service. The chef and his staff came out to check how our food was. They were completely gracious! I am inlove with gcc and will be raving to anyone and everyone who's willing to here! Love it! Can't wait to go back!
