Even though it is almost a year later, we were talking about how much we liked this place and wanted to make sure to leave a review. While one can seemingly never have enough French food while in France, this was a welcome break, particularly as the French food in Sarlat wasn't quite as good as the other regions we visited (maybe too many tourists? . While we enjoy cooking Vietnamese food at home and have local places for it, we noted that the food was particularly good at this place. It's not fancy or pretentious; it was good quality soups and spring rolls. The service was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting outside for lunch and watching Sarlat's market get taken down. Definitely our favorite place in Sarlat.

Other reviewers must have eaten at a quieter time. Everything front of house and cooking is done by a husband and wife team and they are clearly overreaching themselves with the number of tables they have. We had booked and it didn't seem particularly busy but we had a number of issues: incomplete drinks order, starters and mains all brought out at once, wine left on the table but not opened, missing starters, not enough cutlery and crockery. These things can happen in restaurants and are OK if isolated incidents and or sorted out quickly, but they were so stretched this wasn't the case. The food itself is OK but there wasn't a lot of variation between the dishes and certainly not as good as most of the many Thais Vietnamese we've eaten in. The owners were very pleasant and apologetic, blaming a large table outside for the disruption, but our evening was not good as I told them. It's a shame because we were looking for a nice change from local cuisine as were other reviewers. Our advice would be... if you must go make sure it's empty!

Une cuisine authentique, par un chef d'expérience qui fait vivre sa cuisine, à la fois classique et très personnelle. Chez "Hà Tiên",des produits on ne peut plus frais, des saveurs à la fois prononcées et subtiles, des plats préparés au fur et à mesure, sur place. Un très bon accueil, très aimable !Faites l'effort de vous assoir côté restaurant ! ne vous limitez pas à ce qui est présenté (partie traiteur) ...Explorez la carte !Des plats que tout le monde aime ...Mention toute spéciale pour les nêms ! Justes divins !Rouleaux printemps, crevette sel et poivre, canard laqué, moules thaï, soupe phò, bò bùn ...L'embarras du choix. Un régal ! Vous ne regretterez pas cette belle aventure.

Bon mais un peu cher et des petites quantités. Les accompagnements se paient en supplément des plats. 30€ pour 2petits plats....

Un des meilleurs resto viet du sarladais, un accueil sympathique des plats exellent nous avons adorés, produit de qualités et frais. Merci au cuisinier et a sa femme. Ne changer rien..
