Indo Cafe - Saratoga

So glad Indo Cafe has re-opened! I know the owner has gone through some tough times recently and am delighted she has been able to re-open. Many restaurants have had to increase their prices because of the pandemic so personally, I have no issue with that. In these difficult times, we have to support each other. In any case, the food is absolutely delicious and I'm so glad I can get my weekly fix of mi tek tek again!

This is a very authentic place. I am Indonesian and I'm really thrilled to have found this place to heal my food homesickness! Try the Balinese rice set, or the Gudeg. It's as real as they get!

We got the nasi padang and ayam panyet and they were delicious!!! Each dish was unique and flavorful in their own ways. A bit pricy but honestly worth the money.

Tante Maria (the owner) is very friendly and kind! I went here yesterday asking for martabak and they said we must order one day in advance. So we ordered martabak for today and I let everyone in the house to try it. They all love it! It's like very thick sweet pancake. We ordered chocolate, cheese, and condense milk for our toppings. In my opinion, it is good but could be sweeter!! Overall 8.5/10. Definitely a must try !
