Florentine Trattoria - Saratoga

Delicious lunch with my daughter today. Rainy day, cozy perfect! We love this little place!

To begin, this review is for service . the food is still 5 star; very good) the servers are terrible. we love the bread and surprisingly didn 't get the bread and dip. so when we asked , the server said o yea ! and then when i asked did u forget, instead of saying yea i forgot; she said we dont give the dip with pizzas and soup that we ordered.. like seriously.. hahahaha.. maybe the main servers were on a break and we were served by the ushers or front desk ladies

Downtown Saratoga staple! Two of us ordered: -glass of sauvignon $13 -florentine cobb salad $17.95, was charged another $0.75 for a different dressing since the vinaigrette was too salty -burrata $13.50, was good -1 large 6 piece bread $3.50 The 1st round of bread is complimentary (2 slices each person I believe). I always love eating the bread here. Both orders of bread came out piping hot and it was delicious! Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking available in the back.

Had their clam chowder soup and penne scampi. The sauce is very good for the pasta, but their clam chowder wasn't the best. The focaccia is delicious, would come back just for their focaccia.

Over booked on Mother's Day, standing room only. We had reservations but didn't matter. Took over 2hrs to get 3 of the 4 entrees and the 4th came 15mins later. Food was very bland, small portions, salad only had lettuce with 1 slice cucumber, not really a salad. Lots of upset people waiting for their meals. Never again, greedy owner doesn't have problem overbooking restaurant at customers expense.
