Pollo Tropical - Sarasota

Eating is okay. Sometimes under boiled sometimes too dry other times just right. It really depends on whether you're lucky. But does not matter when you come the staff is rude and lazy. I was once said, if I ask for an additional utensils that I can't help you, I'm too busy. Other time when I picked up my order, I asked for my drink and the waitress told me she can't do that the drinks are picked up at the checkout, what happens to be 3 feet left. Instead, I had to go past people waiting in the line for the cashiers and ask for the drink again, while everyone looked at me as I am in the line. I was here a few times because the other places are too far, but honestly, if you want the typical great experience you get at other Pollo Tropical locations, then don't come here. Looks like the manager's trying. He's always nice, but the employees are terrible.

Always hit Pollo Tropical When I am in Florida. They shut them all down in Texas. The chicken was great, the service was awesome a great price

Please change your restaurant hours to show accurate operational hours. Website says open until 10 pm. Orange cone blocking drive thru Doors were locked at 9:15 and 4 cars including myself were waiting to order. Photo from 9:15 pm Thanks!

I usually love this place however the last time, I came I had a hair in my food which was fixed without issue but it just ruined my appetite but I gave it another shot. I checked online to see if it was still open it said it closed at 10pm. I showed up at 847pm went through the drive thru didn?t get a response. I drove up to the window to see an employee inside leaned against the counter on their phone . Unbelievable. They chose to ignore me because it was a slow night and they probably put everything up too early. I know how it is in the restaurant business wanting to leave exactly at close but never ever would any place I worked not taken the people who walked in within the last fifteen minutes. It?s apart of your job. But according to the website I came in an hour and 15 till close. Maybe the internet was wrong . Either way I should have been served! If this was my employee I would certainly speak to them about closing duties and professionalism. And if your gonna act like the place is closed maybe stay out of the window on your phone! I was ordering for 6 people none of us will ever come back . And you also lost an $80 order we had deserts and xtra sides also appetizers and entrees. It was a decent order it?s not like it would have been a waste of time . Plus we tip fast food employees . We all lost tonight

I love the franchise, this place needs a little more TLC attention from the employees. This place was not horrible, but it doesn't make me want to go back. Maybe it was just not a great time when my family and I went.
