Mr Tequila Authentic Mexican - Sarasota

Enjoy our meals, had great service, and the decor inside is very cool. Margaritas were a solid A, but pay attention to the charges when you get better tequila. Our margaritas (medium size) were almost $20! I had the pollen azteca, which was very tasty with the pineapple and other ingredients.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. The decor may not be attractive from the outside, but once you step inside, it is surprisingly impressive. The person who designed the interior had a lot of creativity.

I moved from Chicago 6 months ago and have been searching for a good Mexican restaurant. I tried several places, but they were all just okay. However, I recently discovered Mr. Tequila and was blown away by the fantastic, fresh, and flavorful food. I highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic experience dining at this restaurant during our holiday at Siesta Key beach. The Mexican cuisine was absolutely delicious and authentic. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive. The food was excellent and we were impressed by the generous portion sizes. I usually never finish a whole meal in one sitting, but I did here! The standout dish was the Tacos Rancheros with shrimp. Highly recommend trying it!

The restaurant was great and the food was delicious. I loved the beans and rice along with the beef Burrito I had. It was a very special lunch. They even brought out chips and salsa that were delicious. I wish they had salt peppers on the tables, but really no problem. Our server was great and it was very fast. This place would really recommend everyone with the area.
