Bidrage med feedbackThis is an incredible gem in the area. No pomp and circumstance here. Cheap strong and delicious drinks. Come here to take in the sunset and the best Mai tai I've ever imbibed. 13/10-must go every time I'm in the area.
Yum. Only word that comes to mind. We decided to come here after the beach and daily. They make some of the best cocktails on Lido Key and the atmosphere is so fun. Additionally, the service is outstanding. We did not have a chance to dine here because we were simply drinking, but from what we saw, the portions were large and the food looked delicious. Be aware that on weekends the place is a total mob scene--but super fun.
Six of us stayed in an Airbnb not far from The Lido Beach resort. We went out for breakfast almost every morning we were there. We decided to go to Café Lido because of it's proximity to where were staying and for their **** Mary's. Having already eaten at restaurants close by so we had some point of reference. Of all the places we ate this was the least favorite. The food was pretty bland. For those of us they did order potatoes with breakfast there were about four very overdone, crispy potato chip like potatoes. The **** Mary's were OK at best, as was the service. I think my bill for a basic breakfast with a **** Mary including tip was over $30. This is not the best value in the area.
I have come here for years and use to love it so ....last couple times drinks are disappointing yet still dam expensive ...unfortunate as this use to be the bast place and my local watering hole...I don't mind paying top dollar if they are attentive and pouring well but it has gone down hill The view is still the best though!!
Now who doesn 't love a great Tiki bar??? And this is a great place to wile away the time, drink some frothy concoctions or a cold beer and listen to some great live music! Located at the Ritz Beach Club, it is outside of the locked gates so even if you are not a guest of the Ritz, you can walk up and sit a spell. Not only are there seats around the actual bar- but there are tables out on the sand where you can sit in the sun and watch the people go by. And on those colder days- they light a few fires that you can sit around to keep your toes warmed while you let the alcohol warm your tummy! Friendly bartenders, funny musicians (we sat one day and sang Neil Diamond 's Sweet Caroline at the top of our lungs . . .yeah . .alcohol does funny things! and the ocean pounding out it 's own beat. Now what can be better than that??
