Le Colonne St. Armands - Sarasota

I'm already dozens of paints here. love eating. service can touch and go, but in the very good. my only wish is that they would update the place a little. looks a little down. that said we always bring from the city guests and recommend it to others. I can't beat that.

Le colonne is a good palate for the earth with good service.

The eggplant parm was delicious. The grouper was over cooked. It’s a good restaurant and I’ll definitely go back, but I won’t order any fish plates.

We have been going to Colonne for many years, and never had a bad meal until this week. My pasta with white clam sauce was completely bland. My wife's bronzino was mealy, and tasted fishy. The salad dessings were not impressive, either. Don't know if it is a new chef or if it was just an off night, but I do know that we (sadly) won't be returning.

First time dining after walking by many years. Nice outdoor table with very quick service. I ordered veal scallopini and it arrived very grey looking, very little flavor and cold. Pasta dishes seem the way to go here. I wouldn’t order this entree again. Our server was delightful and quick so no problem with service but the entree needs a little more attention to detail.
