Chianti Italiano - Sarasota

I saw the reviews and I saw a menu that looked appealing I ordered the food I asked for veal Parmesan and I knew the price was $31 but I was expecting with that I was going to get a salad and a large portion I got to the restaurant and this is what they gave me! So I used my eyeglasses as a scale to show you that the portions were extremely small. And then after all that the food wasn?t even that great. I would suggest stepping up your game you?re gonna have us locals for the next 7 months before your money train comes in and the seasonal people arrive again.

The second time we had a group there. The best management and staff ever. The appetizers and the main course were deeeeelicious. Recommend this restaurant to everyone. We were there 11/05/22 and they made my mother's 88 birthday a very unforgettable one. Thank you.

For a long time in Sarasota, I have often been in Chianti, and all my meals were very good. Last night, my meal was nothing less spectacular. Initially, our server was like a sunbeam in fact the entire service from the food tanks to the administration in between was so attentive. Next, the meal was so delicious to finish. We had an appetite when we arrived, so we started with an appetizer, followed by a Prima Piatti course of pasta, and a Secondi Piatti course of a entree, then we all packed it with a piece of pistachio cream cake with a cappuccino! Sated, yes. When I came home, I discovered that I had left my CC there! Oh, no. I'll call the restaurant right away, and I appreciate the caller ID, the Maitre d' took the phone and said Mrs. P, we have your card! Now I really feel special! Treat yourself to this consistent jewel of a restaurant. You're not sorry.

Make another meal at one of our favorite places. The food is always consistent, attentive staff and great music. The manager, Sam, always greets us with a smile and checks on the table to be sure that everything is as it should be.

Very subduing, it was not unbearable, but only very dirty. We both had red sauce, this should be a clamp, very under seasoned, meatballs were soggy and simply not great. Service was ok, everyone very nice, food simply missed the brand, there was no point in the meal where we said this is really good, I would order it again.
