Cafe Amici Downtown - Sarasota

We had New Year's Eve dinner with out of state friends. Sandro, our server, was fabulous. Wine recommendation was terrific, we had 2 bottles. My husband's osso buco was delish. Two of us ordered lobster pasta and it had only 2 chunks of lobster. Very disappointing, do not recommend. We had to shout to be heard at our table for 4. Underwhelmed.

Hidden gem downtown Sarasota! Feels of Italy in every plate! Best Italian food in the area!

As a lady who went to venice and was smitten with the food, this place gets the stamp of approval. Jason was our server and did a fabulous job

This place is the best place to drink and dine in all of Sarasota. Massimo, the proprietor, is welcoming and pays great attention to the details and looking after his restaurant and Patrons. The food is excellent! We enjoyed the best carpaccio I have had outside of Europe. The stuffed pepper with sausage was delicious and the veal chop melted in our mouths. YUM! The lovely ladies at the bar, Kelly, Zoe and Fabiola are attentive and gorgeous. I can’t say enough nice things about our experience. Thank you Massimo for the great times we have spent with you.
