Little Italy Taverna - Sarande

Been using this place for the last 15 years, don’t get me wrong great food, but tried to get in the other night without a booking, was full and said that was no problem, the young guy on the door was very rude this year and speaking to me like I’m stupid, didn’t really want to leave this review but I want him to see this and sort out the bad attitude. Unfortunately the worst experience I had on the island!! We ordered 4 pastas a risotto, a garlic bread and a margherita pizza. The only thing that was eaten as a dish was the pasta with minced meat and it was ok. The pizza let 's just say it wasn 't that bad as we all ate and no one focused on it. Everything else was really, really bad. In particular, we got 2 fantasy pastas which were watery, the spaghetti was overcooked, the canned mushrooms were clear, the bacon I doubt was bacon and the overall taste was like minced meat, bacon and mushroom pasta. The risotto was both tasteless and literally like putty. The garlic bread literally 2 slices of bread, which must have been frozen. The shrimp pasta was the highlight though!!! We happened to grab the shrimp tail and it was frozen!!! Also the spaghetti stuck and cold. After all this we called the person in charge and showed them to him. Fortunately, he was polite but tried to make excuses (as anyone would of course) but to an extent where you called him unreasonable, like for example the spaghetti was sticking from the fan he has on the ceiling where we were sitting. We wouldn 't recommend it to anyone and I think it shows !!! PS In defense of the manager, I should add that he told us not to pay!! Pizza and gnocchi were okay. Nothing outstanding. Small restaurant with little space. Very good price. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–15 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Recommended with enthusiastic excellent eating, attentive service. during the holiday in kassiopi I have eaten there two full meals high quality fresh ingredients, solid menu, careful execution by the chef and his team, very drinkable house wine, reasonable prices and beautiful, cozy decoration. delicious and aesthetic. Note that for the time (not the high season) they are only opened thurs sat.
