Malt Kirkwall - Sapporo

A Must Go To when in Sapporo. Ask for a variety of tasting and for owners to surprise you. What a treat. I haven't even seen so many whiskys when I was in Scotland. Great place.

On Thursday stopped. Wide range of reasonable and expensive Scotches. The owner is very knowledgeable, helpful and a really friendly gentleman. He speaks English and is open to questions and entertainment. I was in a lot of whiskey bars in Sapporo. That would be one of my top three.

A stylish bar with a great atmosphere and a fabulous selection of Japanese and Scotch Whisky. The jewel in this crown, however, is the master, who is one of the most knowledgeable and professional barms it is ever my pleasure and privilege to meet. His recommendations were excellent and his way and warm hospitality made our evening very pleasant. If you love whisky, or if you want to try it, you cannot miss Malt Bar Kirkwall.
