Gulero - São Sebastião

Very good atmosphere, good service. But the highlight is the whole grilled fish. We had to go back in the next day to have it again. Really delicious!

Overall I think it lacks some consistency to their offerings. The price of food compared to other nice restaurants in the area is too high. Fish was ok only. The place is an old local home with many family objects but that is all. We...just made sure we better not go anywhere despite our favorite restaurant there. Ops, when we got there, a full side of the restaurant was not being used because a dog was sitting there with a family. We waited some good time for a table not to suffer the barking!

Disappointing food: Camaro with coco sauce and rice. Overcooked shrimp and tasteless sauce. Need to add a good amount of coconut milk and reduce it before adding shrimp for 2-3 minutes. The farafa with dried mussels was rather weird. Perhaps it’s a local taste?

From a far Gulero may look and seem like a basic beach restaurant but when we see it's surfaces you will see it's amusing extraordinary roots I went there back in august when I was in brazil and when I came back here in march...and had to stay here because of the pandemic I ordered their food, it was the best food I had eaten in my 25 year life experience it was even better then it had been back in august it consisted of an organized system and a remarkable experience, so much so that I now order every single day while I'm quarantined

Excellent restaurant The food was delicious The place is so beautiful full of vegetation. The rice was so tasty and the octopus looked incredible
