Island Life Hostel - Santo Domingo

6/5 review for this absolute gem, friendly people, fantastic location, great staff, there really is nothing missing. Dormitory rooms and private rooms are great, I can also highly recommend breakfast!

A great hostel in the heart of Zona Colonial. Friendly and helpful staff and a beautiful hostel environment. Simple stay and they were consistent with storage and cleanliness. Simply fill in delish and breakfast daily.

Very friendly staff. Perfect location. Loved the colonial Arquitecture with high ceilings and the inner terrace. Right in the colonial quarter. Good for single travelers or groups. Bar is open until late and free breakfast is included until 09:30. Come on. Thanks Justin's and Pedro.

Great place. Well done. Island life is the perfect hostel to start and finish your stay. The location is great and the building is an oasis in an otherwise strongly urbanized area. There is plenty of space to hang out and connect with other travellers; Outside benches, a TV room, a bar and a wet pool. The place is clearly very well managed The staff is always round and very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the back packaging in the rest of the country. Breakfast was one of the great drinks of the hostel. It was simple and yet fulfilled - all basic food groups represented. You can't go wrong with this place!
