Tanta - Santiago de Surco

I find what I'm doing here excellent. I love the turkey sandwich and the pasta and mush is my favorite

The restaurant was recommended to me in the hotel, then I did not know that it was a chain of chef gastón acurio. at the arrival they received us very well. we ordered a sampler type of dish that had different Peruvian snacks. I think. it was the best option because we tried a little of everything. I also ordered a pisco sour drink, which was very well prepared. the restaurant facilities are comfortable, a place to go with friends, family or in a couple. it has a modern concept, relaxed, not like the other restaurants of gastón. in perú you will find so many foods that you can choose from. I do not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Tanta is a casual Peruvian chain of koch gaston acurio with locations throughout the city – we had seen so many of them during our time in lima that I could not wait to finally try one! at the beginning we had the beef-raffinada, which was a simple beef stew with wobbles and carrots, which were baked in a stuffed. for our pornstars, we had a dish called “El gran Combinado”, a combination plate from a roasted chicken breast served over a buck help of Cilantro rice, along with sides of fried bananas, mais with ocopa (cheese and black mint) sauce, and kartoffeln with huancaina (cheese and chili) sauce. all about this plate was great – there were so many different flavors that were clear, but went so nice together! but my favourite dish was probably the Barranco salad, which did the best of local Peruvian ingredients. it was a mix of quinoa, circustomates, gurks, wobbles, olives, Andean cheese, mais, avocado, rocoto pepper, borons, spearmint and Lima beans hummus! every bite was so satisfying and refreshing at the same time, combining a lot of textures and aromas: crispy, salty, sour and sweet!

Atmosphere is upscale cozy. had the traditional peruvian chicken soup and it was just what I need to warm up after a winter day.

Located in San Isidro, close to my hotel Sonesta el Olivar. Fast and friendly service, tasty food. Main and a beer for 20 USD.
