Bidrage med feedbackSome friends recommend very Puerto Marisko and I am so glad that we left. Family business, warm welcome, great service, good prices, good quality / quantity and not the best pisco sours. It's been back twice. YUM
Great staff! Great food! Great prices! Unusually looking building! I came with Limeñians who all agreed that the standard of food was equal to many illustrative and more expensive restaurants. Then I came back alone the next day and agreed the same thing to me!
This restaurant offers a full menu of fish and seafood, but we went for the ceviche and were not disappointed. We tried the corvina ceviche and the mariscos ceviche and recommend all. The place is always crowded and frequently has a waiting line. There is no lounge or waiting area, so those waiting just stand outside. Service is OK, especially considering how busy the place stays. The prices are pretty good, maybe too good, considering the waiting line.
I was taken there for lunch by a local colleague and during lunchtime the place is absolutely packed. This popularity was a good sign already. The menu is in Spanish only, but we didn’t even bother with that. I had the grilled octopus – their signature dish. Coming from a country with no seashores I wouldn’t consider myself an octopus-expert, but I had my fair share of cutting the population of these creatures. I’m tempted to call this my best octopus ever. It was tender, juicy, evenly grilled and most definitively fresh. The plate was tastefully arranged and even the side dishes were tremendous! What’s also unique to the European eye is that at such a small place there were 5-6 waiters working parallel. Plus one at the tabs and God know how many in the kitchen… So we were very well attended the whole time. And all this comes for less than 100 Sol for the two of us (around 25 euros… !
My friends recommended the restaurant for a quick lunch. As usual we looked at the menu and order much too much, but we at most of the wonderful local foods. (See the photo) Located just blocks from the ocean the fish in the ceviche was as fresh as you could ask for. Perfectly cooked in the lime juices and spices the cool taste of the meal mixed perfectly with the mild heat and outdoor seating! Located off a major street and in a residential area of Lima this is certainly worth a short taxi ride from the tourist area of Miraflores to experience this local family restaurant.
