Bidrage med feedbackThis place is amazing and a must to visit if you are looking for a good quality Hamburger in Queretaro. Everything is made in the house, including the rolls and sauces. The food is great, the view is great, as it overlooks the Plaza and the beautiful church of La...Cruz, there are live music with very good performers almost every evening. Omar is the owner of this restaurant, he is a big, friendly guy and he speaks perfect English when you fight with Spanish words. I recommend this restaurant and the others in the same area (they are all side by side).
I studied two months abroad in Querétaro and that was one of the places I (and my colleagues visited most during this time to eat. It is certainly wonderful to experience authentic Mexican cuisine, but after two months you sometimes... wish a little taste of home! I love burgers (I think they are a food group: and Barrio Santos are seriously some of the best. The owner (Omar is a fantastic guy; and his dog, Sherlock, is the best! (If you are lucky, you can meet him during your meal!) Omar is proud of his food and has many great stories about his time as a cook in México and America. The burgers are delicious and very beautifully presented; they come with a variety of handmade gourmet sauces, delicious French fries and overall, extremely high-quality ingredients. The price was very reasonable and it was nice to sit in Barrio Santo (which looks at a very nice but quiet and not tourist plaza in the hills above Querétaro. I would certainly recommend this place if you were looking for a quiet, delicious lunch!
Among our favorites if we want to change from traditional Mexican cuisine. This small burger salon is located on the Plaza Fundadores right in front of the monastery La Cruz and offers a very cozy terrace and excellent burgers. Ideal to enjoy a simple (still tasty) food... in a very nice environment, the Plaza is always filled with activity and families past while not too loud. From time to time there is also live music performance. The burgers are more on the large size and filled with large ingredients and come with a large selection of sauces on your table. Sometimes the Portobello Burger and the BBQ recommend, but all, even the easier, are delicious.
Stopped for a cold with my family; very well located, walking to the Temple La Santa Cruz and the Aqueduct. The owners treat us very candied and friendly. It's a must if you're around
I studied abroad in Querétaro for two months -- and this was one of the places I (and my fellow peers) visited the most during that time to eat. It's certainly wonderful to experience authentic Mexican cuisine -- but after two months -- you sometimes want a little taste of home! I love burgers (I consider them a food group :) ) and Barrio Santo's are seriously some of the best. The owner (Omar) is a fantastic guy; and his dog, Sherlock, is the best! (If you're lucky, you may get to meet him during your meal!). Omar takes great pride in his food and has a lot of great stories about his time as a chef in both México and America. The burgers are delicious and presented very beautifully; they come with a variety of handmade gourmet sauces, delicious French fries, and overall, extremely high-quality ingredients. The price was very reasonable and it was lovely to sit at Barrio Santo (which looks onto a very pretty - but quiet and non-touristy - plaza) in the hills above Querétaro. I would certainly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful, delicious lunch!
