The Lobby Lounge At Ritz-carlton Santiago

The service at this restaurant is always very friendly and polite, but we were disappointed with the food itself. We ordered the afternoon tea, but found it lacking compared to similar experiences we've had in London and Hamburg. The tartars and sandwiches we received were elegant and tasty, but not the typical English assortments we were expecting. The same can be said for the small selection of candies. It seems like there may not be much demand for afternoon tea here, as the offerings seemed haphazard. We were given the option of tea or champagne, but when we chose champagne, our server forgot to bring the tea. Overall, the experience fell short of what we would typically expect from an afternoon tea service.

We were given the option of tea or sparkling wine, but after choosing the wine, they forgot to offer us the tea. Perhaps it should not be called Afternoon Tea.
