Pizzeria Artesanal Letrusco - Santiago

New ownership failed to meet expectations from previous owner. When I sat down, only two other tables were occupied, and I ordered a vegetarian pizza. Ordered a mojito drink but it was unavailable because there were no mint leaves. Those leaves can grow anywhere in Panama, just like cilantro or tomatos. Not having mint leaves for a listed drink shows poor management supply skills. The pizza took at least 25 minutes, in contrast with the previous owner whose staff served the pizza under 15 minutes. The axis of the damaging review rests on the way the pizza was prepared; the vegetable toppings were added after the pizza was done, so the pizza came out hot with cold vegetable toppings. It failed to meet expectations, will not recommend and will not return.

The ultra thin crust was the game changer that drew me back. Went with spouse and ordered, savored the Reina Margherita pizza. Two well prepared mojitos crowned the evening. The staff remembered my spouse and remembered the mojitos we ordered back in January. Pet friendly now and plastic free no straws! Excellent since it shows the owners' stewardship for the environment.

Takes mother earth to higher level. No single-use drinking straws handed out. There's enough plastic litter tarnishing Santiago already. Thumbs up for being a trend setter.

Highly recommended. Don’t hesitate to visit this Pizza place and Italian meal options . Great place to dine.

A friend of my son suggested going to this nice little restaurant and we were not disappointed at all. A decent sized menu with oversized menu portions and reasonable prices. A good experience overall with friendly staff and reasonable prices.
