Bidrage med feedbackWhat an absolutely terrible place. I ordered appetizers online. Expensive for what is was. A small order of cauliflower wings for $16+?!? A small order of fried pickles for $11+?!? Take a look at the photos to see the pitiful amount of food. I won't be ordering from or going to Buffalo wild wings again.
I would give zero stars but that 's apparently not an option. It 's a Friday afternoon (7.22.2022) and we just attempted to eat at the Santee Buffalo Wild Wings We walked into a basically empty restaurant (maybe 8 tables were in use and there were 3 guys at the bar) and were told the wait would be 5 minutes....... Ummmmmm why..... your restaurant is empty! We sat and waited for over the 5 minutes we were told to wait and the minute my husband told the hostess to take us off the list she replied but your next, I was just about to get you . No one had left so I 'm not exactly sure what the hell is going on. We will NEVER go back! Also there was a waitress sitting at a table in the back talking to what I assume might have been a manager.....
Dirty Dub tots served with a hair and all the manager was willing to do is take the Dub Tots off the bill. Not enough won't be back. Disgusting!
As the Duke of this establishment. All shall bow in my presence. I shall be catered to hand and foot. Every one of my whims shall be fulfilled without question. For I am the Duke. Lol, I am funny. What 's funnier is I have only checked in four times on Yelp. So I am a mini Duke. I have been here more than four times but I only cared to check in for four. All kidding aside for a second. I want to like this place more than I do. It 's just been a let down in my eyes. Let 's start with service. Not sure if they are over worked or under trained or both. The times I have been here. The workers looked rushed, apathetic or just look like they don 't have a clue. The other day I drove to pick up a online order inside the restaurant. When I showed up. I wasn 't acknowledged at all. No Hi or I will be right with you. . Another customer walked up and was served immediately. The Duke hates to be ignored. No trumpets, red carpet or flower petals being thrown at my feet. In my mind it was Off with their heads. . Yeah, I was miffed. I told the employee I was here first but got no response. All I got was an employee who looked like the lights weren 't on. Lucky for me. Another employee came with the save and took care of me. I left shaking my head thinking. Why do I come here? Next comes the food. It 's not bad but it 's not great either. Wings are their thing but they aren 't exceptional. Shouldn 't the wings be amazing especially when Wings is in their name. Again, why do I come here? I don 't give many bad reviews. The reason is I try to give a business a fair shake. I will give numerous chances for them to be better but there 's a time where it is what it is. What it is. Is a business that could be more, advertises that it is more but isn 't. I won 't be back. I forgo my Duke status. You can keep it.
Now for the disappointing part: the boneless wings were simply underwhelming. The chicken itself was decent—not overcooked and still juicy—but the sauce? Not good at all. They were barely coated in it, and I think I might have even received the wrong sauce. The flavor was just lackluster and tasted cheap. We also ordered veggies; the celery was fine, but the baby carrots—no, not carrot sticks, but tiny, baby carrots—were dry, white, and tiny. Overall, it was a major letdown. I’m so incredibly sad about it. I might consider giving this place another chance in the future, but it certainly won't be my first choice for wings any time soon.
