Zaghéra Cocktail Kitchen

Besides the friendly service, clean, modern interior and great outdoor eating area that overlooks the local church, my daughter and I went there twice to get their PILLOW SOFT Gnocchi ripieni provola al nera di seppia, cozze, fiori zucchini e basilico (Gnocchi filled with provola cheese, squid ink, mussels, zucchini flowers and basil). I am obsessed with this dish and seriously am going to try to re-create it at home or see if the owners will share the recipe with me. As a matter of fact, I. dream of returning to Italy just to taste this heavenly dish again!

We stopped twice just for a coffee and some sweets. Particular environment, furnished in the tones of the sea: from turquoise to emerald green. The owner is friendly with everyone and gives excellent information on the routes to take in that area: times, costs and more. The dishes look appetizing but we didn't actually have lunch on site. Maximum cleanliness everywhere, including bathrooms. Compliments!!! Food: 5

Great little cocktail bar and resturant in Nerano. Solid drink selection and very fresh and delicious food. Everything we had there including the Caprese, calamari, spaghetti alla nerano, squid ink gnocchi, and pumpkin langoustine pasta was terrific. Plus the chef has a cute little dog that hangs outside that just adds to the charm. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Okayif you eat at one place while in Nerano. It should be here. Zaghéra is incredible. Besides the food being out of this world, I’m not exaggerating (the ink squid past with pumpkin and prawns was sublime . The food is fresh, well prepared. The setting and establishment is relaxed and fun. The waiters are so friendly and chatty, I learnt that Zaghéra is named after a gamelike ‘hide and seek’ Nascondino. Dinner hear in the quaint village with passing Vespas and dogs barking, elderly gentleman playing cards and the Italian vista is epic. Honestly this is the best meal we had in Nerano and Italy. 3rd meal we have had in a week and everytime is a pleasure. Make sure you kiss the chef on the way out :
