Julian Pie Company - Santa Ysabel

Good atmosphere and nice staff, however very limited on pies during reasonable store hours.Went to this store on a Friday at 2pm and they only had two pie choices for individual slices, not to mention not having the Original Pie. They were however, more then willing to sell me a whole pie, that they had in large quantities.Seems kind of silly that a store would have several whole pies for sale yet not think to take one off the shelves, so customers could continue to buy individual slices. I get the concept of not wanting to waste product, but the store didn’t close for another three hours, so how is being out even a thing.

We usually buy in julian , this place we loved it from pies to selling cookies and ice cream, areas to sit just beautiful and delicious.

Glad they have this spot, outside of the one in Julian. We were pulling a travel trailer and the place has a huge parking. We got our take home pie quickly and everyone was so kind. We had our 2 dogs with us while we sat in the outside patio to eat and drink coffee. I do wish they had cold drink options in the heat (we just did regular coffee and added ice). There are many stores nearby and many were walking around. Nice place to visit.

Love this place!A must stop if you're in the area, for a warm piece of pie with several options of toppers (ice cream, carmel, cheddar) to eat there or to go, fresh apple juice/cider, cookies, donuts, a whole pie (fresh or frozen to bake at home), hot chocolate or coffee.Staff are terrific, always there with a smile and happy to help.They also have restrooms onsite and in a different area than the main eating areas.

Really good pie. We got the melted cheese as well on it. Interesting combo. Not sure I’d order it with cheese again but it wasn’t bad and something to try.
