Lovely lunch at Santa Monica beach. The Avocado Sandwich ?

I have to say… this place is fabulous for atmosphere and drinks. The drinks and appetizers are truly spot on. However when you charge as much you do for steak, you should be given a rather larger portion of steak. That being said it was under seasoned and over cooked. The other members of my group had pasta which was great, but the added salmon again not worth the price point and was over cooked and dry. This place does so many things right that it’s sad that the proteins are not done correctly. were excellent … the chocolate cake tasted like soap and the whole table agreed

Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair and were good with bringing things for the little one.

Very mediocre and overpriced hotel food. You’re paying to sit next to the beach, not for a nice meal.

We headed here after our beach day as we have been frequent visitors in the past. We had the clam chowder, the calamari, the fettuccine, and a burger. The environment is amazing due to the location, but the food was beyond acceptable to the degree that we had to send back multiple dishes. It was lacking both in quality and flavor. I really hope the upper management do something drastic to fix this, as this place have been a solid hit in the past.
