Bidrage med feedbackMy goodness! Worst Japanese restaurant or anything (including even Nepalese restaurants ... and I haven't got one yet!). The tempura looks like it's under aged shrimp (too small to fried. I found it illegal - there should be a law against frying shrimp that size). That was very different from the pictures. Considering this restaurant was named after the dish, they could have done a lot better. The service was super bad! We were served by a waiter named Arvin who was so into himself he should have been on X Factor or a reality series. We ordered 2 servings of 4 pieces of tempura. Somebody made a boboo, we got 2 servings of 5 each. Then this waiter says to us: "Sir Mali Po Order, Babawasan Ko Po ng Tig-Isa!" ... too f * ¢ kin weird. I will never go back. This explains the free places at this location (see picture).
The place was nice and not crowded. The service was quick and the crew was nice to us. The food tastes so good, but Tori was boring to me. I enjoyed their katsudon and their unlimited iced tea P75.00. :) :)
Personally, I prefer tempura when I have to settle for the more commercialized Japanese. This branch is a bit worn, but the service is quick and the staff are friendly. There's nothing really special about their food, but it's a good option in certain circumstances.
I'm giving this restaurant a 4 just because it's that simple. We have been here several times and ordered their flavorful salmon roll. This sushi roll is the bomb, it was very spicy and I love it when you see the chilli flakes on it and the salmon is fresh. The service is very quick which is a must for me. I will definitely come back this week to try and eat all that can be done.
This resto used to be a favorite of mine. Well, the brand in general. Regardless of the industry I visit. But I'm a little bit sad about their food now - the taste has already leaned towards the fast food line. I just hope they bring back the tempura we loved before.
