Le Colonne - SANTA MARIA MAGGIORE

It was a very nice experience having dinner at this place. The Gnocchi special was sensational where the plate was beautifully balanced between the gnocchi, mushrooms and the parsley sauce. The veal and duck dish were also very tasty and nicely presented where the portions were just right. It is definitely worth a visit were the young staff is friendly and helpful.

Amazing food and extremely appealing on the plates. Great homemade bread. Will definitely return again. Very friendly young waiter. A bit pricey but worth for a visit.

My grandmother was born in Santa Maria Maggiore in the 1880's. We visited looking for roots. By chance we ate meal at Le Colonne. At age 70 you can imagine how many meals we have eaten in our lives. Alte aspettative, leggendo le altre recensioni, ma purtroppo non siamo stati soddisfatti. piatti molto buoni, ma porzioni minime...in pratica uscire e andare a mangiare una pizza... Personale non qualificato. Peccato.

Non siamo nuovi in questo ristorante, i piatti sono ben presentati con la costante presenza di prodotti del territorio tra gli ingredienti, preparati ed elaborati preparati. forse alcune opzioni extra tra antipasti (solo 2 nel menu e 1 menu fuori ancora più semplice, non rovinerebbe. un vero peccato per il seno d'anatra, veramente troppo cotto!
