Bull Ring - Santa Fe

Classic steak house with a great atmosphere and 5 star kitchen. I hesitate to order lobsters in restaurants I don't know, that was my first time to eat here, but after talking to our server she convinced me to order it. Most restaurants either under cooking or over cook it to rubbery. It was perfect, completely boiled and delicate as possible. My wife's steak was also perfect, like all the secondary dishes we ordered. This is a must when you're in town.

A few weeks ago, I had a great meal in the Bull Ring. The food was excellent and the staff was all excellent. I had the same experience in September that I had over 30 years ago. At the time I had a mouth problem and was not able to chew food, I had to look it basically! I was with my sister who wanted to eat something next to Pasta (which was easier for me to eat). The staff and head of the Bull Ring offered to build a steak and make me the best hamburger I've ever had! I'll never forget how ready they were to take me and how kind they were. I'll always eat here when I'm in Sante Fe. The manager I talked to about my previous experience, (Lisa) was especially friendly to me when I told her what her staff was there for the first time. Beautiful decor!!!

Dinner was excellent!!! From the wonderful greeting from Harry G. to Lisa?s exceptionally friendly Demeanor. Lobster was on site, Petite Filet was for dying. Desserts were excellent!!!

First. At the Essen Solo it is not always a good experience. Everyone always wants to sit at the bar. I called before about food and the bartender was so kind that I could? ve spoke to her for 20 minutes lol. When I arrived, the host I think was actually the manager or owner was extremely friendly although I said I had only one in my party. my server Sarah was amazing although she worked many tables. The food was phenomenal. I was in Santa Fe for a week and that was the best food and service I got all week. Very recommended! I'm chef and I've got lots of pages and I've tried everything. It was all amazing.

Was very excited to dine here and was left feeling mediocre. The location and staff are very nice. The appetizers were not a good start as they were greasy/oily and not crisp. The aioli with the onion strings was phenomenal. The food delivery timing was way off as it was 54 minutes from appetizers to main course. We were just at the point of leaving when our steaks came out. The steak was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor. The sides were very large and tasty. The desert we chose was the pecan pie and that was off the charts! Highly recommend the pecan pie.....that is one of my favorites and this one ranks with the best. The coffee was good but I would suggest a better coffee cup.....I know this is something petty but at such an establishment it was odd to get coffee in a thick ceramic mug reminiscent of a truck stop diner. Overall I have to say my expectations were much higher and I left feeling a bit let down. I did.not feel a WOW factor......with the exception of the pecan pie!!!!
