Tourigalo - Santa Cruz

Pedimos o peixe maltratado e o frango assado e ambos vieram com dois lados. O peixe estava bom e o frango estava excelente! Úmido e saboroso. O serviço foi bom, a garçonete falava inglês e era muito agradável. A cerveja estava especial para arrancar!

Meat is so over cooked you could sole your shoes with it! Ready made chips provided although locals were provided with alternative potatoes. I wasn’t asked! There were plenty of boiled veg, I.e. courgettes and broccoli but they too were over cooked and cold. A local couple who came in later than me were served at least 10 mins before me. The only redeeming factor in this place is the female staff, especially the older lady who was very apologetic and helpful.

Good Portuguese food and restaurant/ Take-away and specially good for foreign tourists, because you can see the food in the take-away counter kitchen, before you order ! Sometimes it can be difficult to order from a menu cart if you are not familiar with Portuguese food ! Great place ! Try it !

We came in as a family group and we have received very good service, amazing food (we went for sea food fish and good poncha : Squid is excellent, tuna steak very fresh and tasty, scabbard is well made. Portions are big. We do recommend this place as it brings a lot of joy when you eat together!

The food is good and fresh, the service quick and friendly.You can either eat there or there is a big buffet where you can choose meals to take away, either meat or fish or veggies or salad.You can combine as you like.Unfortunately we only found out on our last evening there.Otherwise we had tried more dishes
