Pleasure Pizza East Side Eatery

I really like this place for happy hour especially if you have company from out of town. The staff is friendly attentive and genuine, the menu is very thoughtful of those with dietary restrictions and or food sensitivities and the environment is clean open fresh with great tunes playing (I love to hear music ? Kid-friendliness: It's not cramped inside or outside staff are family and dog friendly

Literally had to drive around the block to figure out if this hole-in-the-wall joint was legit. Judging by the crowd, YES. It was all that and a bag of chips. The crust won me over immediately. The pleasure combo is special. Great flavor! The Santa Barbara is amazing. But my wife LOVED the plain cheese. We stayed in the Santa Cruz area for a week and ate there 4 times. Couldn’t get enough. Well done and keep it up.

If you order a mesl to go, thoroughly check it', I just had one of the worst burgers ever. . Plain burger on a dry roll NOT how it was ordered! On the other hand, my daughter hod wonderful sweet potatoe fries.

First time here and the food was amazing. My boys loved the pizza, my husband got the pesto shrimp pasta which was also very good and the burger was delicious! Great atmosphere and fast service. Definitely would come again.

Went to the street fair today and unfortunately there weren 't any food options so ended up just eating at the first place we saw. Walked into this place and it was full and food menu seemed decent. So we gave it a shot and wish we hadn 't. I would say staff were friendly and they did seat us, a table of 6 with a baby, right away so I will give them that. By the time we ordered food and one of the items arrived was a good 40 minutes and it wasn 't till another 10-15 minutes that the rest of the food came out. Food was mediocre. Pizza was a mess to eat, as soon as you picked up a slice all the topping including the cheese just slid right off; nothing special about it, it was the telecaster. Fish tacos were bland and not much flavor. Their lunch special fried chicken should not be a special, seasoning of the breaded chicken nothing special, the buns it came in were not good and too much mustard on the sandwich, sweet potato fries were good. Someone had the eggs Benedict and they said it was good but that was it, they also were starving but I myself didn 't try. There was also a combo pizza we had that was just ok. I 'm not sure if the women serving us was the only server there but she came to us for orders we were not ready because one person was not at the table came back maybe 5 minutes later and we all ordered, we had asked her for more water and she never came back with water we had to ask someone else. In the whole time it took, 1 hour, for everyone to get all our food not once did she come and check on us or just let us know about the wait for our food. She maybe came up to us one time after food got here and that was it. We were there at least 1.5 hrs and saw our server only 3 times. Would not come here again for food.
