Bamboo Cafe & Smoothies - Santa Águeda

Honestly I think I must be missing something. Coffee was awful (we tried drip and the epresso), sour and bland if the two are even possible at the same time...staff will short change you with a sly smile as if daring you to confront...two stars only because out of the several food items we ordered the app!e empanada (turnover) was amazing. Flaky and perfect. Other pastries were chewy and flat. Overall big disappointment especially the sneaky short-changing. We did pay in US dollars which I realize is not as convenient, and usually are prepared for a lower exchange rate. Other businesses at least post the rate so you know what you are getting. These folks do not. We were given change of several dollars less than we should have been, even asked for a receipt to be sure. We were prepared to tip a similar amount especially for the inconvenience of us paying in USD so we decided not to argue but it felt shady and gross. And then horrible coffee on top of it all. Save your money and dignity and go anywhere else.

This restaurant is in the marina channel unfortunately there is no view. The smoothie I had was primary all ice with no flavor and the 80 pesos empanada was overpriced. The service was quick and friendly. There are other locations in the marina that make some great smoothies

Love the chocolate, peanut butter and banana smoothies! The service is always great and a wonderful please to meetup.

We had breakfast here at least a dozen times while staying at the Villas Del Mar. It is a very short walk from my condo. The smoothies and omelets were Excellent. The fruit bowl and killer cereal were also very good and fresh. I will definitely return here. The lady was so nice to us. Can 't wait to return.

Discovered by accident on our day of arrival in PA. Good eats at a reasonable price. Good service. Local ambience.
