Cafe Journal - Sankt Wendel

Had several meals here and its always great. this time the salad was delious. and the out door eating, just fabulous. Also the have live entertainment on some week ends.

This restaurant Should be winning a Prize for the rudeness of the Owner and the waitresses. As soon as a bigger crowd walks in they will relocate You to lousy tables. You dont like it? You can leave...

Had a nice dinner with some friends at Cafe Journal during the Halloween Party. We were lucky to get a table with the party in full swing and everyone scrambling for a place to eat. They seem to have several dining rooms, so be sure...to check upstairs and around the corner if you go during a busy time. The food is typical German stuff, but done very well. I had a fantastic schnitzel and my friends ordered great pizza and pasta. Nice wine selection too! Our waitress was really friendly even though she was obviously pooped from the crazy mob of party goers. We'll have to come back when it's not so busy.

I really like the food there, they have one of the best salads I 've tried, I always needed to tell myself to try something new, otherways I 'd just go for the same salad. They always have nice fod of the day and the price is...also good. Nice atmosphere.

In cafe journal the service always agrees. the staff is always helpful and friendly. the price level and the offered performance fit just fine. whether breakfast or pizza, you can look forward to varied and delicious dishes. as a guest you can feel the long-term experience of the cafe journal team and look forward to the next visit.
