Engrained Brewing Company - Sangamon

Ordered the Rueben sandwich and for $18.49 you’d think it would be decent size but there was more sauerkraut than meat. It tasted decent but things have just gone down hill here over the last few years.

Ordered Chicken Stir-fry. Unfortunately there weren't many veggies. Just carrots slivers and small bits of broccoli. The rice was very oily and heavy. Chicken was OK. My wife had a margarita pizza. It was OK but not good enough to take leftovers home. They need to upgrade the food a bit before we return.

Food is good as always. Great beer selections. Service on point!

Expectations exceeded. We were expecting common Brew pub fare but we got so much better. The restaurant was clean and inviting and the staff were playfully engaging with our child and his Uno and Dos games. We came in there at the end of their shift and they were very accommodating. Our server, Case, was knowledgeable and provided detailed descriptions of the flavor profiles of the food as well as his recommendations. He expressed enthusiasm about the menu and directed us to some of his favorite choices. He even gave us some anecdotes about the orders and who likes them. His colleagues were also very polite and helpful. The food and service were excellent and what one rarely finds when on a road trip. It's on our list when we make the trip again. Thanks Cade!
