Mellow Mushroom - Sanford

I really enjoyed the Funky Q Chicken at this restaurant. The only downside was that there was a bit too much sauce, which made my pizza fall apart. The crust was perfect though. The Holy Shiitake was also delicious, but the Aoili was a bit overpowering for me. However, adding chicken helped balance out the strong garlic flavor. The Cheese Bread was just okay, and unfortunately the marinara sauce didn't impress me at all.

I was disappointed when they removed the Maui Wowie pizza from the menu, but The Pacific Rim was a close second. I was happy to discover they offer delivery to my area. The Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookie was tasty.

Due to a canceled flight leaving me stranded in a hotel out of town, I stumbled upon this place and I would highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a healthier twist on comfort food like wings and pizza. The wings and pizza here are oven-baked and delicious. I particularly enjoyed peeling off most of the skin from the wings. The pizza has a fantastic flavor and a thin crust.

That brownie... amazing! The salad... amazing! The ranch... amazing! The side of pizza sauce... amazing! Mellow Mushroom has consistently been my favorite for months. My pizza today... was a bit "off" compared to usual... but might have just been an off day. Hopefully back to normal next time!

My pizza was okay. It was warm not hot and the spinach artichoke dip isnt as good as I thought it would be.
