Cafe Vesuvio - Sanford

My sister and I are going to Raleigh on Friday. Today we decided to try something else and we loved it! Remind us of pizza joints we visited as children with family. The food was delicious! And our waitress, Anna, was wonderful! We definitely came to a good time because when we were at 7:00 it was packed!!! Will definitely be back.

Great homemade Italian food. From the dinner rolls to the pastas. Friendly staff and clean establishment. Can’t wait til the one in Sanford opens. But until then we’ll drive the 25 min to get there. Well worth it!

This is a great casual restaurant! I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the food. The menu was easy to navigate and very affordable. I ordered a Grande Pizza, and the slices were quite large. They arrived nice and hot at my table. Now that you've read my review, give it a try locally!

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant, which I discovered on Google. It was conveniently located right across from our hotel. Despite it being a busy Thursday night, we were able to get a table, likely due to the many college graduations happening in the area, and we were pleased with the quick service. The menu offered a beautiful variety of options. My husband ordered the lasagna and decided to add a sausage and a meatball to his meal. I chose the rotisserie chicken salad. We also shared an appetizer of garlic cheese bread, which was generously topped with cheese! The food was fantastic, with generous portions at great prices. It truly felt like a hidden gem.

This is a fantastic restaurant! I've been coming here for 20 years. The only things I would suggest changing are the salad, which tends to be quite bland, and the bread. It would be great to see some authentic Italian bread on the menu. It's definitely one of my favorite Italian spots in Sanford!
