Rayz On The Bay - Sandusky

The scenery is amazing. Very nice little bar/eatery while either watching sports on the TVs or just enjoying the lake view. My friends and I rode our motorcycles to this location and enjoyed a meal. I would have liked to have a server for our groupoutside instead of going up to the bar and placing our orders individually and getting our food that way. Also some of ourmeals took longer than normal to get while others got their food right away.

Terrible service! A group of us sat outside so we had to order our food at the bar. Two of us ordered 2nd and 3rd out of 8 people. The other 6 got their food, ate and we were still hadn't received our food. All we ordered was a salad, a wrap andfried pickles. Went up to cancel our order and they were just bringing it out. So we hurried up and ate while everyone waitedon us. We were going over to Margaritaville for the motorcycle giveaway drawing. We got there late thanks to the slow serviceat Rayz. Our friend won the 2022 Harley-Davidson Street glide and ended up having to pay the taxes on the bike because hewasn't there in time (we were literally across the street parking our bikes). Way to go Rayz. I'll never come back to yourestablishment. BTW, when I was waiting on my food, I went inside to wash my hands, and had to pass the kitchen to get to thebathroom. They had at least 7 people that I saw working in the kitchen. I know that other tables outside also got their foodbefore we did as well.

Cute spot, great food. I ordered the shrimp basket but they were out and I?m glad because that was the best steak sandwich I?ve ever had (mushrooms, onions, Swiss). The kids loved their burgers and declared it their new favorite restaurant.

Their perch was delicious. Friendly, attentive servers, a beautiful view of the water, and very good food at reasonable prices. Dog friendly on the porch.

Went there for the first time this past weekend after being referred there by others. Went there and got told by a hostess to seat ourselves. We went and did so. We sat there about 15-20 minutes watching 4 different servers plus a bartender service otherprior guests that have been there. There are signs all over the place that say please expect food to take up to an hour if theyare busy. I?ve worked in the service industry for over 13 years and am a bartender and there is no excuse for that. They hadabout 5 tables with a combination of 4 different servers walking around and not one even came to greet us and At least let usknow they will be back shortly because they?re busy (even though they weren?t). We waited and waited while making eye contactwith 2 servers and nothing. Not to mention there was about 4 dirty tables that sat completely even unbussed the entire time sowho even knows how long they were dirty prior to us getting there. This place was not busy at all and if that was consideredbusy I don?t recommend the kind of staffing for a place that?s in a location and atmosphere as such. We got up, walked all theway around to exit and past the hostess and they were sitting on their phone and didn?t even acknowledge we left. Don?trecommend this place despite the amount of people who did.
