Embers - Sandside, Scarborough

First visit to Embers for my partner's birthday. Staff were fantastic and really accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing, the chef here combines amazing flavours an quality results shine through in the food. Definitely a place that is passionate about what they do. I found Embers through TripAdvisor. From the reviews, I expected it to be good but what we found was exceptional quality food and drink. Particular highlights for me were the scampi, smoked salmon and the Embers Old Fashioned, but everything was very good, even the water! The staff were very friendly and were happy to provide an item not on the menu. The prices were also very reasonable. We will definitely be visiting again.

Really enjoyed a pre theatre dinner here. Friendly team, with delicious, creative food that is beautifully presented and expertly cooked and agree about the benefits of the woodfired oven! The homemade mini loaves of bread with different 'butters ' was a creative surprise. All of us were impressed with our different choice of dishes. Highly recommend. Service: Dine in
