Bidrage med feedbackWhat a charming little coffee shop and creperie! I met up with a friend for a mid-morning treat and we had a wonderful time. The crepes were delicious and the staff accommodated my gluten-free friend perfectly. The tea was served in beautiful vintage china, adding a lovely touch. My only complaint is that the tables were too small to fit both our meals and trays of tea, but I understand that the layout of the cafe doesn't leave much room for larger tables. It would be helpful to have a few more high chairs for moms with young children. Thank you for a fantastic experience, we will definitely be returning!
This cafe is a cozy spot with outdoor seating available. You order at the counter, so if you prefer table service, this might not be the place for you. I came here for brunch with a friend and found it to be a nice, light option. The menu offers traditional breakfast items as well as crepes for those looking for something different. I tried the ham and cheese crepe, which was good, although I wished the ham had been of higher quality considering the price. The coffee was great and the staff were friendly. The seating arrangement outside can be a bit haphazard, but it adds to the charm. This spot in Sandgate is gaining popularity, and it's nice to wander over to the park afterwards. The beach is also nearby.
Located in Sandgate, this cozy café may be small in size but it serves up excellent coffee and delicious crepes. The mismatched seating and charming china cups add to the unique ambiance, though you may have to wait for a seat. Despite the potentially slow service due to the small staff, the café is a great spot for people-watching and enjoying a lovely start to the day with their delectable crepes.
What a delightful little 'hole in the wall' coffee shop/crepery. Met up with a friend for a mid morning treat and we had a great time. The crepes are lovely and the staff catered for my GF friend beautifully. The tea was served in beautiful vintage China which added such a gorgeous touch. My only negative comment is that the tables are too small to fit both meals and trays of tea on however thoroughly understand that due to the positioning of the cafe there would be very little room to do so. A couple more high chairs for lunching mums would also be well received. Thanks for a great experience - we'll be back!
This is basically a little 'hole in the wall' cafe with sidewalk seating. Self service orders which I do not have a problem with but if you are looking for a place to be waited on this is not the place for you. I went to brunch with a girlfriend and for us it was a lovely light alternative. The menu also has traditional breakfasts as well as crepes for those who prefer a traditional breakfast. I had the ham and cheese crepe which was lovely but for the price I would have thought they would have used a better quality of ham but that is just my personal preference. The coffee was lovely and the staff friendly. As with most sidewalk cafe's seating can be a bit topsy turvy but that just adds to the atmosphere. This little pocket of Sandgate is becoming popular and it is lovely to walk across the road later and sit in the park for a bit. The beach of course is also not far.
