Bidrage med feedbackBest seafood place in sandakan with clean space, friendly and friendly staff. the tiger prawn noodle and the deepth fried mayao fish were heavenly and must immerse in this restaurant. very good value for money with great service! our last evening meal during our Sabah trip and it was one of the best meals during the trip also!
So I visited this place for about 8 years half regular; due to my business trips to Sandakan. I loved her eating since they began near the old town. service at this place is pretty good. they have no menu, but the tante is friendly enough to explain what they have and is not oversold. they recommended which parts we should order on the basis of the size of the group and appetit. she even told my friend that, as she coughed, she might not have to order the cocospy. she came to check us a few times to make sure we are satisfied with our orders. this is more than a typical neighbourship seafood resto! now the dishes. my friend reminded me to order the shang ha my, and it was the highlight of the meal. the noodles soften perfectly with the sauce, which was tasty but not overwhelming. the garnels were nicely cooked. if you order crab, order them with BBQ sauce. I have never tasted so the taste went all the way into the flesh and have this smokey taste! the damped fish was so fresh that nothing else remained. the sweet: the bitter with salted eggs was divine. the bitterness was balanced with the saltiness of the egg; and some sweet salty taste in its mouth. the cocospudding is so good! if they have a small appetit after the great meal, a cocosnus is sufficient. super recommended. I will definitely come back here!
Food is great. normally crowded, please reserve to avoid sitting at the table near the street.
The food is good, need to book or go earlier. We order the prawn noodle is good, crab, lamb ia good also
I like the salted egg squid, very flavourful but a little bit dry when they fried so caused the hardness of it. The best is the roe crab even though is was just around 250 gram each. But very fresh and the roe is super tasty. Price wise is cheap too, RM49 per kg (if I remember correctly). The seafood tofu not recommended. Fresh water prawn noodle is their signature but I don't fancy it, just my personal preference. Most people like it. Chicken skin is very crispy and flavourful too.
