Really shame! We showed up on Saturday night dinner and they were closed. _ Super deserved negative review. Of course, we'll do negative advertising with every potential customer. A beautiful place does not authorize to do as you want without respecting the clientele. SHAME! We showed up night Saturday and they were closed, WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. WE WILL NOT PICK THIS RESTAURANT IN THE FUTURE AND SHARE THIS EXPERIENCE with all potential guest. A good restaurant is made by people who take care of their guests!!!! !
Don’t go there unless you want to have a fixed menu. We went there for lunch and didn’t want to have the three(or more -course menu including a bottle of wine because otherwise we would have been much too full (and drunk! to go swim and to drive after. We asked if we could just have one meal/course each and other drinks instead but we were “sent away”. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant, so it wasn’t like we were taking up too much space… In German restaurants, you couldn’t even imagine this happening, guests are free to consume whatever they want to, so to us, this seems rude and inflexible. Apart from the view, this restaurant was a disappointment.
We knew nothing about this ristorante when we booked, other than that it offered a beautiful view and was close to Olbia airport, which was to be our next stop. It was by far the best meal we’d had all week in Sardinia, in fact it was the best meal we could remember having had full stop. One pays Eur 40 per person for an extremely generous four (arguably five! course menu, including wine, coffee and digestif. As our waiter said to us, all we had to do was to decide whether we wanted the fish or meat menu (probably not suited to vegetarians and leave the rest to them. Plate after plate of exquisite delicacies was laid before us with a quiet charm, pride and professionalism. This place is run to a very high standard by a committed and engaging team. We left the restaurant and Sardinia on a high. And the view really is like none other!
For us a must, at least once a season we return, always great, you eat very and well. the only new price increase from this year from to €, accomplice seems the passage from wine of the house in caraffa to that in bottle (nothing of particular however, discreet vermentino).
