This little restaurant is right outside the center, but easily accessible. We went walking around the town and that's how we stumbled across this place, and we stopped for raspados (shaved ice). I believe their syrups are homemade, they were all very sweet and tasty. I recommend stopping here for a raspado after a nice long walk through the town. Can't comment on the food as we did not eat here.
This beautiful local restaurant is away from the bus stop tourist restaurants found in other areas of San Sebastian del Oeste. Our party of four was immediately seated and treated to friendly service. They specialize in authentic Mexican cuisine. Their menu changes daily as the focus on 3 to 4 main entres prepared very well. I had loma, a pork dish. It was just like mom makes with great frijoles and rice. We also had Pozole, which means hominy , and is a traditional soup or stew from Mexico, which once had ritual significance. Last we had Carne en su jugo. This is beef steak in an green chili sauce. The tortillas were hand made and served hot off grill. I highly recommend this wonderful foody stop. With her mom Rosa cooking, her daughter provided friendly efficient service. We felt we were part of la familia.
We loved our lunch here. We had amazing food and great service. Way better than our first choice, where we were ignored!
