Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant relies too heavily on spice over flavor. The presentation of the lentils in the mantu dish is poor. The borani banjan is overly mushy and not authentic. The salad is served with Italian dressing instead of the traditional Afghan white sauce. Overall, the dishes are too spicy for Afghan cuisine. I have never experienced such intense spiciness in an Afghan restaurant or kebab house before.
If you're in the mood for delicious Afghan cuisine, then look no further than CHOPAN KABOB! It has been a few years since I last had Afghan food, and I must say, this experience was exceptionally enjoyable. I couldn't resist trying their famous Bolanis, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It reminded me of a unique Chinese onion pancake with various dips - a definite must-try! The grilled shami kebabs were flavorful and satisfying, while the Tandkori chicken was served piping hot and incredibly delicious. The Chicken Karahi had a mouthwatering sauce that paired perfectly with the rice. And for dessert, be sure to indulge in the Bahklava, though the Firni was a light and refreshing treat, similar to panna cotta. On top of all that, parking is free!
Wow! This restaurant is incredible. The portions are generous and the flavors are decadent. I will definitely be coming back.
