I really like to live in nowato. beautiful way. quiet Lil city without the city, I guess it nowato, but they don't have decent taqueria in them and that makes me very sad. we finally found sonora in northern san rafael, praise the taqueria jesus! there is something that is not quite right to come on a carbahn to reach a taqueria, but I think that is the marina lifestyle I must accept. moving from city to marina was disappointed over the fast delicious cheap eating category. sonora is so legit in this department that hardly exists in most marin. their burritos are fresh, tasteful and gigantic and correspondingly expensive. they have a macho burrito and it is interesting that the difference between the macho burrito and the super burrito of the macho has the avocado, acid looked and salsa etc outside the burrito instead of inside and it is really another taste. sometimes I'm in the mood for all being congealed like the super burrito, and the macho gives a fresh one to have it up. they also have amazing horchatas, enchiladas and quesadillas. everything was good and the service was always nice. in any case, a family has the feeling, at this place many thanks to the inestimacy in the sea of moderately overpriced means of living the opposite. we need you.
Solid nachos, the carne asada was delicious and the guacamole was made with good avocados. the horchata was good, a bit sweeter than I like, but I would probably order it again
We were here every week when we lived in terra linda. we are moved, but come again the week for lunch or dinner with all the fam. high quality, authentic, family-owned and running. They also have koks and jaritos in a glass bottle. it won't be better.
I can't believe it took a pandemic to try this local taqueria. I am so glad we checked it out, after getting a recommendation from a friend. The Al pastor is spicy and tender. And then there is the salsa. Green has a bit of a kick but the red is special. It's almost creamy and packs a punch, in a good way. When I have leftovers, I add it to my cooking: chili, corn chowder, etc.
