Bidrage med feedbackCharged my credit card 145.00 after booking through a 3rd party Wouldn’t recommend it. I decided to stay here on my way to ucsf for a medical appointment and through my credit company/3rd party so the room was all paid for. 213.00. 2 days later I checked my credit card and the hotel charged 145.00 to our card. I called and front desk told me that was what the room charge was. Then he said he would look into it. He called back and said he fixed it. 6 days later charge is still there and when I called for the 3rd time they hung up so we’re calling fraud.
We stayed over a weekend in May in which a number of the wine country hotels were either booked or in prices involving four digits a night (wedding season, I guess) so we stayed at the FourPoints; which, I had not been to in over 22 years. The property has an odd layout due to its location on a hill overlooking the 101 and there can be a long walk between elevators (and waits for the lift) to your room. The hotel is clean; however, there are a lot of worn surfaces, fixtures and materials that made the stay a little less pleasant. The hotel has done a great job updating common areas the swimming pool and cabanas were punching above their weight, as was the gym. The lobby was updated and nice enough. I know that FourPoints are known for inconsistent brand standards they're nothing like the military grade standards their corporate brother Courtyard has; but, it would be nice if the owners could refresh the rooms. The furniture is clearly too old and modifications to the room (removing a dishwasher in the suite room with painted plywood) is not what some of your best and most loyal customers want to see. Staff interactions were okay. Nobody was rude, but it did feel like everyone was just going about their jobs. No elite recognition (Titanium) Overall, nothing wrong with a good value last minute. I just wished this property could be as polished as its center court pool area.
Located just of 101, this Marriott standard was quite fine for our family group who stayed there for a nearby wedding in Marin. Having the bar and restaurant was super convenient when folks got in late or we wanted something after the welcome happy hour for the wedding. The window AC was quite loud, but did a great job keeping the room cool on a day that got over 100'. The lobby air conditioning was not winning the war that day. Navigating the building was super confusing basically use the elevator unless you have a working key card , and even then you can't enter level 0 with a card. Staff was helpful when our card key failed and when the security lock on the door kept us from getting into our empty room. Shower had plenty of hot water. Check to see if breakfast is included, otherwise stumble down the hill for coffee or a delicious donut. CVS and Safeway were also just a short walk away. Convenient to the county fair as well.Walkability: Next to a good shopping mall with restaurants, pharmacy, grocery and coffee.
Surprise delightful quiet retreat on a hill near Civic Center with easy access to Hwy 101. The commendable kitchen provides sliders to crab cakes and breakfast buffet. Public areas are attractive and service is friendly and attentive. Winning combination of rooms and comfort.Rooms: 4/5
Room 433. It was a really nice room. It has an outside heated pool with a hot tub.The breakfast was pretty good. A great buffet. They had eggs, fresh fruits, English muffins, bagels, muffins, blitzes. But keep in mind unless you have a coupon it costs $22. We had a coupon, don’t know if it is for people staying at the hotel or if is because we are gold elite. We went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. The food was really good but the people who work there are totally overworked. There were two bartenders, one of them got drinks for the restaurant. That person was also the server. It took a while to get served but the dinner was worth it. Really good. It was worth the wait.
