The atmosphere and food were good, but the meal took a long time, especially when the staff forgot our order. During lunchtime, we ordered the dessert set, but we had to remind them twice and ended up waiting for more than 40 minutes. I recommend ordering hot black tea as it is quite nice. Lunch near the mansion. There is a parking lot next to the police station. You can enjoy Miura tuna steak at a restaurant near the seaside. Really wanted to try this place but after waiting for more than an hour we decided to go somewhere else. We, party of 4, got there early and was the 3rd in line for a table but for some reason never got seated. The restaurant had limited seating and most tables were for parties of two. There was one big table that’s capable of seating 10 but they sat a family of 4 and 2 parties of 2 instead, which was very perplexing to us. After waiting for more than an hour we were told ordering bento to go would be another hour while waiting for a seat would be “a little less”…. We left after. Beware of long wait and perhaps bento is best option.

The travel time is worth it. This nice little restaurant does have limited indoor seating and a small outdoor spot as well. I recommend calling and making a reservation. Our meal was very tasty and the presentation was on spot. Drinks were also good.
