I have to admit- I did not eat here but the menu look intriguingMy daughter and I are in Dewey beach for a few days of sun and fun.
. Real Spanish food, well cooked and nicely served. Busy day in San Pedro, just walked around looking for somewhere to eat lunch that wasn't showing me a picture menu in four languages. : Chose this one because the bar was full of Spanish men drinking and eating tapas. That's a good way to select a restaurant in an unknown place. What a find! I had the menú del día which was excellent value at 12€. First gazpacho with guarnición a whole trayful of things to add to it. Oh I forgot! While I was waiting they brought me a free aperitivo of ensaladilla rusa which was a huge portion, a course all in itself! Then I went for the boquerones con pimientos asados the crispest, freshest boquerones you can imagine, and a delicious roast pepper salad on the side. Finally I went for the calorie packed speciality Torrija. Scrumptious! I sat out on the terrace and was very happy reading my book and eating delicious, home cooked food. Then just a short stroll down to the bus station on the main road. Worth a visit you'll be very pleasantly surprised. .
This RESTAURANT has changed its name and owner and is now called SOFIA 2. Former cook of the previous one, soul of the restaurant. Good traditional cuisine and good service, affordable prices and the person who serves you Lola is a charm. Magnificent menu of the day
Appalling. Excessively slow service, without any order (other tables that have arrived later being served), dishes different from the ones we ordered and on top of that they bring them back cold. Furthermore, the owner-manager-responsible for the errors makes no apology, but rather shows a cocky character. Not recommendable.
